António Martins graduated and received his PHD in Chemical Engineering from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, and a MBA (2007) from Porto Business School (PBS). He is currently researcher at the LEPABE at the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto, where he works in the Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainability Evaluation of Products and Processes, focusing in Renewable Energy Systems based in photosynthetic micro-organisms in a biorefinery perspective, or incorporating energy storage systems such as batteries or related to Power to Gas or Power to X.

Marta Guerra da Mota is Invited Assistant Professor at the Management Sciences Department of ISMAI – Maia Institute of Higher Education and at the Economics Department of ISCAP - Polytechnic Institute of Oporto. She holds a PhD in Sustainable Energy Systems from the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto (2013), a Master degree in Environmental and Policy Management (2010) and a degree in Economics. Her main areas of research are electric utilities, energy management and sustainability reporting.
