2.0MW (2.2MW DC) ArSun PV project, the largest commercial solar power station in Armenia, set to reportedly provide electricity supply in Hrazdan community were inaugurated by the EPC Shtigen (KSTAR''s Exclusive partner in the country) on November 13th, 2019.

For the 2.0MW (AC) ArSun plant Shtigen chose 32 KSTAR KSG 60KW and 2 KSG 30KW solar inverters. Power from the system is converted using the advanced technology of KSTAR smart PV commercial solution that includes AC output overloading up to 110%, SVG function with fast response to the reactive power control,low investment, as well as low consumption and high yields.
The ribbon cutting ceremony and connection to the grid was held by the two owners of the station – Mr. Hayk Shekyan and Mr. Karen Ghazaryan, whose friendship started when they were yet students. "We are going to build more utility-scale PV stations aiming to increase the solar energy share in Armenia, improve energetic independence and take care about the environment", – Karen Ghazaryan told.
Michael K. Lee, VP of Phono Solar Global BD Division who arrived in Armenia to participate in the opening ceremony, mentioned that he is proud of the job done. "We are pleased to extend our footprints in growing markets like East Europe, Latin America and so on, bringing more quality and reliable solar products for local customers. It is even a bigger honor for us to contribute to the advancement of "One Belt and One Road" initiative and bring more green energy for the earth.", – he added.

Said the sales director Mr. Ye from KSTAR.
After the official opening ceremony the co-founders invited the guests to have a walk in the territory of the PV station and to take a closer look at the latest technologies by KSTAR, Phono Solar and TransEnergo used.
On the next day Shtigen together with Phono Solar held a business conference with businessmen, banks'' representatives and partners. Several participants found new business partners during the conference and asked Shtigen to organize such events periodically.
